The Paddle Flow Switch Type RFLS is an industrial flow switch designed to detect the presence or absence of liquid flow inside pipelines. It operates using a paddle mechanism that is actuated by the flowing liquid. When the flow rate reaches the preset threshold, the paddle activates an SPDT switch, providing a reliable signal for alarms or automatic control systems.
The RFLS Series is commonly used to protect pumps, chillers, boilers, heat exchangers, and other process equipment by ensuring sufficient cooling or process flow. By detecting loss of flow, it helps prevent equipment damage, improves process safety, and enhances system reliability.
Designed with an adjustable paddle length, Stainless Steel 304 or 316L construction, and operating capabilities up to 25 barg and 150°C, the Paddle Flow Switch Type RFLS is suitable for water, cooling water, oil, diesel, chemicals, and other industrial liquids.
It is widely applied in HVAC systems, oil & gas, petrochemical, water treatment, power generation, food & beverage, chemical processing, and various industrial utility systems.
