A Guided Wave Radar Level Transmitter (GWR) is an industrial level measurement instrument designed to measure the level of liquids and solid materials inside tanks or process vessels. It uses microwave radar technology transmitted through a guided probe such as rod probe, cable probe, or coaxial probe to accurately detect material surface levels.
The device works by sending radar signals along the probe and calculating the time of flight of the reflected signal from the material surface. The measured data is then converted into an accurate level value for industrial monitoring and process control systems.
